Miranda: "We played the game as we had to do"
The Brazilian central defender appreciates the attitude with which his team went to the field
Atletico had a great game from the start and took the lead early on in the semifinals with a goal from Diego Costa. "When everyone thought we were going to defend we went out to score and play the game like we had to do," said the defended.
After reaching the final, he was quick to re focus on a league clash on Sunday. "It was very important tonight. Our goal was to qualify and now we have done than, now we’ll think about the match against Malaga which will be very difficult. The three points are very important for us," he said.
In the decisive match, the opponent will be the Real Madrid and Simeone’s Warriors promise to work hard to get there in the best conditions. "It will be a different game. We will work to reach that final in the best condition possible”, concluded the Brazilian.
