Miranda and Filipe Luis, candidates for "Best Defender of the 2013-14 League"
They will be joining the candidacy of Thibaut Courtois for Best Goalkeeper of 2013-14 in the LFP Gala that will be held on Monday, October 27th.
The Professional Football League (LFP) announced this Tuesday the three candidates for the best defender of the 2013-2014 season and the finalists include Miranda and Filipe Luis. The football organisation values in this way our team’s great defensive work last season, when we only conceded 26 goals, because together with the two defender candidates, we must also add Thibaut Courtois, who was named a candidate for best goalkeeper of the 2013-14 League this Monday.
Miranda and Filipe Luis will compete for the award of best defender of the 2013-14 League with Real Madrid’s fullback, Sergio Ramos.
