0-1. 89’. Memphis

Celta and Atlético de Madrid came to the field in Vigo with very clear ideas. Both teams fought for the win, but we got the three points with a Memphis late goal after a tough game.

We made the first warning after two minutes from the start. A cross from De Paul that Morata headed and the goalkeeper deflected for a corner. A play that, however, was invalidated when the referee signaled offside at the request of his assistant. The clearest opportunity would come at minute 19, with a good combination that ended with Molina's cross to the far post, Griezmann prolonged and Llorente's shot was saved by Tapia.

Half an hour into the game it would be Griezmann the one who would throw over the crossbar of the goal. Before the break, Celta would close the first half with a shot from distance by Carles Pérez that Oblak deflected into the corner. With 0-0 they would reach the locker room.

The second half began with a change in ours. Barrios left his position to Carrasco and the team went for the game. In minute 48, a pass from Llorente to Morata was finally saved by Villar with a great performance.

The game would enter another dimension in 71, when Savic was sent off. The direct free kick that gave rise to that red card would be thrown by Aspas to the crossbar. Shortly after, Carles Pérez would warn with a long shot to which Oblak responded with a great save. And, in 85', the clearest chance would come for Celta with a cross from Seferovic but Oblak reacted again with a great save.

But the best was yet to come. The team, still with 10 players, went for the winning goal and an opening by Hermoso to Carrasco ended with a shot from the Belgian who touched Carles Pérez and Memphis, just in time inside the small area, kicked a ball that Iván Villar could not reach to give Atlético the three points. Fifth LaLiga game without losing with three wins (Valladolid, Osasuna and Celta) and two draws (Almería and Getafe). Next Sunday, against Athletic at the Cívitas Metropolitano, the next LaLiga match.
