The Atlético de San Luis Board of Directors held at the Wanda Metropolitano offices on Tuesday, Oct. 1 the first meeting of the 2019/20 season. The directors showed their unconditional support for the project, thus ensuring the stability that has so far allowed the Mexican club to fulfil all its objectives.
During the meeting, the strategies initially proposed by the joint owners were reviewed. The main objectives were achieving promotion to the Liga MX in the short term and improving infrastructures to enable the club’s growth. These objectives have been fulfilled in a timely manner, including the modernization of both the Ciudad Deportiva La Presa and the Alfonso Lastras Ramírez Stadium, in which improvement works continue to be carried out.
Atlético de San Luis’ main challenge in this first season in the Liga MX is to consolidate the team in the top flight of Mexican football. To achieve this, the unity of players, coaching staff and fans will be essential, as this is the most appropriate formula to continue achieving success within Mexican football.
