Saúl is better, but will stay in Leverkusen's hospital

The home-grown player is improving the blood, urine and kidney function results but will stay hospitalised in Leverkusen's Clinic.

Saúl Ñíguez, is improving all the blood, urine and kidney function results after the kidney trauma with haematoma he suffered when he received a blow to his side during the Champions match our team played yesterday against Bayer in the German city. The home-grown player will stay hospitalised in Leverkusen's Clinic and pending evolution of his physical injury.

The young footballer withstood some minutes after the blow, but had to be substituted on the 42nd minute by Raúl García. Saúl was taken to the Leverkusen Clinic to undergo a renal CT scan and was admitted for observation. Before the rest of the team returned to Madrid, the young red and white player received the visit at the hospital of Enrique Cerezo, Chairman of the Club, and Miguel Ángel Gil Marín, CEO, who asked after the home-grown player's health.

For his part, Siqueira was the first injured player to be substituted in the match on 38 minutes by Jesús Gámez. The Brazilian suffers a strain to the hamstrings of his left thigh.
