Martín Lasarte, head coach of Real Sociedad, spoke about the match at the Vicente Calderón against Atlético de Madrid and touched on the importance of the points, the meeting with the President during the week and whether there will be changes in the starting line-up against the ‘rojiblancos’.

Martin Lasarte is convinced that they will be able to turn around the team’s situation. “They have to show it, because it forms part of the maturity of the team, and I think they’re capable of doing that. When you don’t win, it seems like you can’t do it again. But it’s a good game for what it creates, for the opponent, for going to the capital to get back those good feelings.”

The fact that they will be facing an Atlético de Madrid with a boosted morale after their win in Pamplona makes him think that “unlike other moments, when they had more doubts, they now give the sensation that they’ve found the form of playing well and convinced of what they’re doing.
