Mario Suárez joins forces in the Cruz Roja & Vichy campaign
An initiative to highlight the health risk caused by the sun
Club Atlético Madrid Player Mario Suárez is has teamed up with The Red Cross (la cruz roja) and Labortarios Vichy in the campaign “This summer, love yourself lots” which begins on Wednesday the 1st of June. In the weeks leading up to summer, the initiative will be looking to raise awareness about the health risks caused by the sun.
They’ll be carrying out campaigns on beaches all around Spain as well as launching an innovative on-line campaign in which the ‘colchonero’ academy product will take part, along with Gisela Pulido and the coach of the Spanish Water polo team.
Mario stars in a video stating that “although I’m quiet dark skinned, I always try to protect myself from sunburn and in the long term, skin cancer. In games where it’s very sunny, the club doctors always recommend that we do so”.
