Manzano: 'Statistics and streaks always break'
The Atletico coach is clear that the goals will come and that 'we must continue with the style of play in which we believe will bring results'
Gregorio Manzano appeared before the media after the last training session at the Vicente Calderon. The technician was questioned about the lack of goals in recent games, and he replied saying, 'Statistics always break down, like streaks, good and bad.'
The coach stressed the good image the side is leaving the game and mastering Atletico matches despite the lack of scoring in recent games: 'Looking at the games except that of Barcelona, in all of the we have drawn and could have won. In every game we have never been outplayed by the opposition. we must continue with the style of play in which we believe will bring results'.
The Atletico coach wanted to highlight the good matches that have taken place in the Calderon: 'Before our own fans we must have complete confidence that things will work out. At home we have had good games so that people cannot have a bitter taste. In general, for the comments that come to me and what I have seen, people are very comfortable with the team at the Calderon, the results are excellent in the defensive part and tomorrow we will continue the same line to get the result.'
