Manu Sánchez signs contract extension until 2025
The left-back, who is a product of our Academy, has signed a contract extension until the end of the 2024/25 season.
Manu Sánchez has signed a contract extension until 2025. The left-back, who joined our Academy in 2014, will continue at Atleti for the next five seasons.
The Spaniard was a key member of Atlético de Madrid B last season while he regularly trained with the first team thanks to his strong performances. He has also been called up with the Spain U21 side.
The 20-year-old made his first team debut on Dec. 14 against Osasuna. He went on to play six games with Simeone’s side – five in LaLiga and one in the Copa del Rey – last season, making him a role model for our Academy players.
