Mandzukic, successfully operated of a nasal fracture
Mario Mandzukic was successfully operated of the nasal fracture he suffered last Tuesday in Athens, at Majadahonda’s FREMAP clinic.
Mario Mandzukic was operated successfully of his nasal fracture with a closed reduction of his own bones and the nasal septum by Dr. Pedro Llopis, Dr. Javier López, and Dr. José María Abad Atalaya of the FREMAP clinic in Majadahonda. The player will have a nasal blockage for 48 hours and will remain hospitalized until this Friday 19th.
The striker suffered the injury last Tuesday, three minutes into the game against Olympiacos when he was nudged by the Greek player Kasami. Despite the injury, Mandzukic continued playing and even scored the first goal for the team with a header from a cross from Ansaldi.
