M. Suárez and Elías, novelties in the team sheet for the clash against Getafe
Ujfalusi, through injury, and Filipe and Fran Mérida are dropped
Atlético de Madrid trained on the morning of 1 March at the Majadahonda Sports Complex for an hour-and-a-half in the final session before taking on Getafe on Wednesday 2 at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez in the southern outskirt of Madrid at 8 pm.
At the end of this practice, Quique Sánchez Flores released the squad list for the fixture against Getafe. The novelties with respect to the match against Sevilla are the inclusions of Mario Suárez and Elías, who were both out against Manzano’s squad. Fran Mérida, who also missed the last game, was not included once again in this team sheet. Together with the Catalan on the sidelines will be Filipe Luis and Ujfalusi. The Czech defender has been dropped due to pain in the rear area of his right knee.
The team has been summoned to meet on Wednesday at 12:45 pm at the Majadahonda Sports Complex, to subsequently head to Hotel AC La Finca.
