WELCOME, LODI

Lodi: "This is one of the best clubs in the world"

The Brazilian was welcomed as an Atlético by club president Enrique Cerezo at the auditorium in the Wanda Metropolitano.

Renan Lodi was unveiled as a new Atlético de Madrid player at the Wanda Metropolitano Auditorium on Tuesday. The Brazilian left-back was accompanied by club president Enrique Cerezo, CEO Miguel Ángel Gil Marín, Club Director Clemente Villaverde, vice presidents Antonio Alonso, Lázaro Albarracín and Carlos Peña and club legends Luiz Pereira, Roberto Solozábal and Roberto Fresnedoso.

Enrique Cerezo welcomed the Brazilian to our club.

"We welcome a player from Brazil, a country that keeps on producing talented players. We hope that with his youth and potential, Lodi can become a great footballer at our club," our president said.

Lodi thanked the president and spoke about how happy he is to have joined our club.

“This is one of the best clubs in the world and I'm very happy here,” Lodi said. “With the help of my teammates, I'm sure that I'll evolve a lot. The welcome I had was very important, something extraordinary. I'm sure that from now on I'll bear fruit to this club."

After answering the journalists' questions, Enrique Cerezo presented the Brazilian left-back with his new number 12 shirt. Renan Lodi then posed with his new shirt alongside Enrique Cerezo.
