Our team earned a 3-0 win in Orlando thanks to goals from Marcos Llorente, João Félix and Diego Costa.

Atleti earned a 3-0 win in the MLS All-Star Game in Orlando thanks to goals from Marcos Llorente, João Félix and Diego Costa.

Our team had several chances under the rain in the first half, mainly through Sanabria, Isaac and Vitolo. The MLS All-Stars’ best chance came from a Rooney strike from outside the box. But the first goal came just before the break, as Marcos Llorente netted his first goal for Atleti following a fantastic team play. Herrera passed the ball to Riquelme, and the Spaniard provided a wonderful backheel assist for our number 14. Shortly thereafter, both sides headed to the changing room for a breather.

Adán made a fantastic save in the first few minutes of the second half to keep us in the lead. Immediately after, Simeone changed the whole team, and João Félix almost scored with his first touch on the ball. The keeper made a fine save to deny him. The Portuguese forward managed to get his goal in the dying minutes of the match. His strike from outside the box ended in the back of the net. Just before the end of the match, Diego Costa scored the third. This time, João Félix provided the assist, and our team won the game 3-0.
