LaLiga is back with a trip to Vigo
Our team travels to Vigo to face Celta in the game corresponding to matchday 10 of LaLiga that will take place this Saturday starting at 9pm.
On Saturday, the competition returns for Simeone's team. After concluding the second international break so far this season, our team travels to the Abanca Balaidos stadium to face Celta on Saturday 21 October at 9pm. The referee in charge of the match will be Guillermo Cuadra Fernández, who will be assisted by Alejandro Hernández Hernández in the VOR room.
Our team will take on Celta with the intention of maintaining the good dynamic of results prior to the window of national team matches after stringing together four consecutive victories in LaLiga. For their part, Rafa Benítez's side will return to their home ground in search of their first home win, with a run of three defeats and two draws in their last five games.
The head-to-head record against Vigo is positive for our club with 72 wins, 20 draws and 24 defeats in 116 league games. Likewise, since the arrival of Simeone to our bench we have only been defeated on two occasions, as well as winning on 16 other occasions and drawing in just four matches in 22 games in the domestic championship.
On the other hand, the last match on Galician soil fell to the Red & White side thanks to Memphis solitary goal in the final minutes of the game, which was the Dutch striker's first goal-scoring debut.
