Kun Agüero’s Argentina's sweep aside Costa Rica (3-0)
The Atlético forward played a big part for his side
The Argentina team, under the guidance of Lionel Messi and Sergio 'Kun' Agüero, recorded their best performance in a thumping 3-0 win over Costa Rica to seal their qualification for the quarterfinals of the Copa America.
The FC Barcelona striker gave a lesson of leadership and assisted the star goal scorer from Atlético de Madrid, who scored in 45th and 52nd minutes with Real Madrid midfielder Angel di Maria completing the scoring in the 63rd minute.
Having drawn their two previous matches, the hosts confirmed their presence in the quarter-finals with five points, behind Colombia, who managed 7, while Costa Rica and Bolivia ended up with 3 and 1, respectively.

Ricardo La Volpe went in hard on Brener and Madrigal, but Argentina had found their rhythm and weren’t going to be knocked out of it, with Messi assisting Agüero for the second goal.
