Koke will continue wearing the Atlético de Madrid colours next season

Koke will continue making history at Atlético de Madrid after extending his contract with the club until 30 June 2027. Our captain will therefore continue to wear the rojiblanco colours throughout the 2026/27 season, which officially begins on the weekend of 16 August.
Jorge Resurrección made his first-team debut on 19 September 2009. Since then, our number 6 has worn the rojiblanco shirt in 740 official matches, scoring 50 goals and providing 122 assists.
Aside from his individual statistics, Koke is also one of the most decorated players in Atlético de Madrid's history. Together, we have won eight trophies: two LaLiga titles, one Copa del Rey, two UEFA Europa League titles, two UEFA Super Cups and one Spanish Super Cup. Our midfielder now sits second only to Adelardo, who won 10 trophies during his time with Atlético.
Jorge Resurrección will continue to wear the Atlético de Madrid captain's armband with the courage and heart that define him. The legend continues. Congratulations, Koke!
