Koke: "We are raring to go for the three points"
Jorge Resurrección Merodio, Koke, was the first of the Atletico player in th mixed zone to appear in front of the flaming red Volkswagen Golf TDI.
The Atletico midfielder spoke about Simeone saying that "The gaffer is the same as when he arrived. He came with a philosophy that has got in to our headsand he continues as usual, with the same desire to win and to work".
Another issue that is being spoken about is the chance of Diego Costa being called up by Spain. "I do not know because I have not seen him with the Spanish side. I think wherever he plays, Spain or Brazil, I’ll congratulate him" he said.
Regarding Celta on Sunday in the Calderon. Koke said that "it is a very difficult game, the first time we’ve played at midday and because we come off the back of two very demanding games. The group is good physically and mentally and we are raring to go for the three points."
Finally, on the fact of being tied with Barcelona in first place with a five-point lead over Real Madrid, Koke said "I am happy to have done a great job on a game as complicated as the one against Madrid but we’ll keep our feet on the ground. We must look to continue doing the same because we are doing things well."
