Koke reaches 100 games in Europe
Our captain made his 100th appearance in European competitions during Wednesday’s game against Lokomotiv Moscow.
Koke Resurrección played his 100th game in Europe for Atleti on Wednesday. Our captain reached the milestone as we drew against Lokomotiv Moscow at the Wanda Metropolitano.
The Spaniard made his European debut on Aug. 25, 2011, during a 4-0 win at Vitória Guimarães.
A product of our Academy, Koke has played more matches in Europe than any other player in Atleti’s history. Gabi (79), Saúl (76) and Oblak (63) follow. Out of his 100 games, 69 have been played in the Champions League, 29 in the Europa League and two in the UEFA Super Cup.
