Koke is a candidate for "Best Offensive Midfielder of the 2013-14 League"
He fights for the award with Rakitic and Iniesta and joins the candidacies of Gabi, Miranda, Filipe Luis, and Thibaut Courtois for the Professional Football League (LFP) Gala on Monday, October 27th.
The Professional Football League (LFP) announced on Thursday the three candidates for the best offensive midfielder for the 2013-14 League. Koke, one of our home-grown players established in the first team for some time now, has been nominated for the award as a finalist. The player made a qualitative leap last season and was ranked among the most talented players in the continent, being an instrumental piece in achieving the League title and getting to play for the national team. Thanks to his efforts, quality, talent and daily work, the LFP decided to value his great performance with this nomination.
Andrés Iniesta and Rakitic of FC Barcelona will compete with Koke to win the award of "Best Offensive Midfielder of the 2013-14 League" which will be presented at the LFP Gala next October 27th.
This candidacy joins the ones we already knew for Thibaut Courtois, Miranda, Filipe Luis and Gabi, compete for the award of Best Goalkeeper, Best Defender and Best Midfielder, respectively, from last season’s League championship.
