Koke equals Tomás Reñones as player with second most Atleti appearances

Koke Resurrección made his 483rd Atleti appearance on Saturday, equalling Tomás Reñones in second place on our all-time list.
Our captain joined the club Academy in the year 2000 and made his first team debut on Sep. 19, 2009. Now, only Adelardo Rodríguez has played more matches for Atleti.
The 29-year-old has made 337 appearances in LaLiga, 39 in the Copa del Rey, 71 in the Champions League, 29 in the Europa League, two in the UEFA Super Cup and five in the Spanish Super Cup – netting 46 goals in the process. Moreover, the midfielder has won LaLiga, Copa del Rey, Spanish Super Cup, Europa League (2) and UEFA Super Cup (2).
