Koke surpasses Fernando Torres as 8th player with most games in Atleti history
The midfielder, a product of our Academy, reached 405 official matches for our club during Saturday's match in Bilbao.
Koke Resurrección reached 405 official games for Atleti during Saturday's clash against Athletic Club. The midfielder surpassed Fernando Torres as the eighth player with the most matches in our club's history.
A product of our Academy, Koke made his first team debut on Sep. 19, 2009 against FC Barcelona, and has gone on to become one of our captains.
The 27-year-old has played 275 games in LaLiga, 39 in the Copa del Rey, 56 in the Champions League, 29 in the Europa League, two in the UEFA Super Cup and four in the Spanish Super Cup. In the process, the Spaniard has won one league trophy, one Copa del Rey, two Europa League titles, one Spanish Super Cup and two UEFA Super Cups.
