Koke enters top ten appearances for our club

Against Deportivo de La Coruña, Koke equalled Quique Ramos and Alberto Fernández’ 361 matches for our club.

After featuring in our 1-0 win against Deportivo de La Coruña in the Wanda Metropolitano, Koke played his 361st match for Atlético de Madrid and has entered the top ten appearances for our club. With this win against Dépor, Koke equalled Quique Ramos and Alberto Fernández’ 361 matches.

An academy youth product, Koke joined our club in 2000 and at just 26 years old (two months and 24 days) he’s become the youngest player to reach this historic mark in our club’s history. Koke made his debut for our club on 19 September 2009 and has since then defended our colours in 247 league matches, 49 UEFA Champions League matches, 36 in the Copa del Rey, 24 in the UEFA Europa League, four in the Spanish Super Cup and once in the UEFA Super Cup.

In total, he’s scored 32 times and has given 88 assists. In total, Koke has won one Europa League, one UEFA Super Cup, one Copa del Rey, one LaLiga title and one Spanish Super Cup.
