Koke celebrates 100 games with the red and whites
The player from Vallecas played his 100th game for the club against Real Sociedad.
The match against Real was special for Jorge Resurrecion. Not so long ago he made his debut with the first team in the Camp Nou back in September 2009, and the academy product haas already reached the 100 match mark. At just 21 years, the vallecano played his 100th game in the red and white shirt. "I am proud to be able to play 100 games and to do it at hoem makes it more special. It is one of the dreams come true and hopefully I’ll play many more games."
In three and a half years, Koke has shown that evolution and has won individual trophies such as the Draft Prize (2009, 2010 and 2011), and the nomination for the Golden Boy award, which Courtois won. Internationally he has been involved in the Spanish team which went to the London Olympics, "It's important to play, gain experience. At 21 years old I’m proud and eager to continue working."
Koke's case is another example of the importance of the Atletico academy. "I am one more player who has progressed to the first team and is working to continue here" He has become a idol for the youngster trying to make it in to the first team."I began like everyone and little by little worked my way up. It’s important to not rush thing they are young boys. We have to help as much as possible” he ended
