Jesús Gámez says that despite the important matches that are coming against direct rivals, the team continues to think match-by-match. "We’re not moving from that. I believe that it’s our line, our philosophy, the one with which we have been working and things have been going well. We continue to fight at the top for the place where we want to be and we’re not going to change that. The game against Almeria is, right now, the most important one and when it’s over, we’ll still be thinking about the next one," he said.

The winger from Málaga said that "We are now in the third position. We're aware that from now on, the matches are going to be one after the other and all of them important. That’s why we can’t downplay any of them. You can’t think about the following one if you don’t win the one you have first. We know they’re going to be complicated matches. We have the first one on Saturday and then we will continue moving forward in the following weeks. It’s clear that they are fixtures which if you win, you’re going to hold a high position."

He then pointed out that "The team is doing a great job, competing pretty well. Our goal is the Champions League and then, when the League has advanced and is close to the end, we’ll see what we can fight for. We have a great group of players, a high competence at each position and in that sense, the coach has to be happy with the team. Right now we're fighting for everything in two competitions and we’ll give our all until the end. We are following our line and hopefully we can fight in the end for those two championships."
