SAGAN TOSU-ATLÉTICO DE MADRID / THE BEST AMENITY STADIUM WILL BE FULL (12:00 CET)

Japan will live our team’s third friendly

The land of the rising sun will live the third friendly of Atlético de Madrid in this pre-season. We are facing Sagan Tosu this Saturday (12:00, CET, 19:00 local time).

Our team is facing its third friendly of the pre-season against Sagan Tosu (12:00, CET, 19:00 local time) at the Best Amenity Stadium. Our team have aroused a tremendous expectation in Japan, more specifically in Saga, because the 25,000 seats of its stadium have been sold out for days. Fernando Torres has been the most acclaimed player by the fans when it comes to asking for autographs, photos or 'selfies', although our coach, Diego Pablo Simeone, or players like Griezmann, Moyá, Juanfran, Koke or Gabi, have not lagged behind.

Behind are a few intense days, both for training and institutional events to give way to football. Sagan Tosu, a team founded in 1997, will live one of its most important matches of its short history and surely our colours will be seen on the stands as they were on the fans upon our arrival and as we are seeing during the stay of the team in Japan.

It will be the third match of Atlético de Madrid after the ones played against Numancia and Oviedo, with the same result in both, a 0-2 win. The team will play two matches in Asia, this one in Saga (Japan) and the next one on Tuesday the 4th in Shanghai (China), to continue accumulating minutes and fixtures to prepare for a demanding season. Before starting the League, the participation of our team is confirmed in the Carranza Trophy of Cádiz on Friday the 14th and Saturday the 15th against the host team, Cádiz, Granada and Betis, while the pairings and schedules are not known yet.
