Jan Oblak reaches 100 Champions League appearances

The Slovenian goalkeeper achieved this milestone in the match against Galatasaray.

Jan Oblak continues making history after more than a decade at Atlético de Madrid. In Istanbul on Wednesday he made his 100th Champions League appearance for Atlético since joining in the summer of 2014.

This season, Oblak surpassed 500 appearances across all competitions, demonstrating his significance in Atlético’s history. He is also the foreign player with the most appearances for the club, ahead of Antoine Griezmann and Ángel Correa.

Oblak made his debut against Olympiacos on September 16, 2014. His list of titles includes one La Liga (2020/21), one UEFA Super Cup (2018/19), one UEFA Europa League (2017/18), one Spanish Super Cup (2014/15), one Portuguese League (2013/14), one Portuguese Cup (2014), and one Portuguese League Cup (2013/14). In addition, Jan Oblak has won six Zamora trophies, the most by any goalkeeper in history.
