Cristian Ansaldi was presented as our Club’s player in the VIP lounge of the Vicente Calderón. The Argentinian defender posed with the red and white shirt after receiving it from the hands of Enrique Cerezo, President of the Club, and José Luis Pérez Caminero, the entity’s Sporting Manager. The Argentinian international acknowledged to be "really very happy to be here", claiming that upon arrival to our Club "I’ve been welcomed as if it were my home".

I’m eager to give my all

Ansaldi acknowledged "really wanting to give his all after a really successful year for the Club". The possibility of making his official debut against Real Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup is another incentive in his new career as an Atlético: "We’re convinced that we can make it. I know very well what these matches mean for Atlético".

The Argentinian welcomed the competition that will take place with Guilherme Siqueira: "Whether I play or he does, we’ll give our all. We’ll move ahead together".
