Insua: "We want to win the final and dedicate it to the fans"
The Atletico full back praised the efforts of his colleagues and spoke of how bad luck played its party in the defeat.
The Argentinian left back passed through the mixed zone after the game between Atletico Madrid and FC Barcelona at the Vicente Calderon.
Insua has praised the efforts of his colleagues against the recently crowned champions. "Despite the defeat there were a lot of positive and the team has competed well against the best" has said.
As for his return to the starting line up, Insua was happy to be able to be part of the eleven chosen by Diego Pablo Simeone to face FC Barcelona. "The truth is that I felt pretty good, a little tired at the end, but well. Ultimately, what I wanted was to regain minutes today I was able to enjoy them".
Regarding the second Barca goal he put down misfortune as cause. "The second goal was very unlucky. They had a good counterattacks and used well, but we were unlucky" he stated.
Finally, there was been optimistic about the Cup final next Friday. "We are well prepared for the final. We want to win and dedicate it to the fans who deserve it" concluded the Argentine defender signed in January from Sporting Lisbon.
