Insua and Demichelis played at 'home'
The Argentines stated that there is no cause for concern about the loss, it's still early and the fans once again enjoy as in previous seasons.
The full back Emiliano Insua and centre back Martin Demichelis enjoyed a special game. They returned to their home country and experienced the spectacular atmosphere associated with football matches in Argentina. Insua stated that "it is amazing how the fans bring colour to the stadiums in Argentina.”
Both stated that it is too early to tell how the squad is looking, as the pace of competition will improve over the weeks. Demichelis said "The first game is important to correct the errors. It’s never nice to lose, but this helps us to prepare tactically and physically for future games. The coach rotated so that we can all reach the same level."
Insua played down the defeat. "It shows that we need that step to be before we move on. Some of us are her on tour and some are in Madrid preparing themselves physically, so we’re not worries about the result today" he said.
