LALIGA | MATCHDAY 11

In search of equalize a historic streak

This Sunday, starting at 9pm, we will play against Deportivo Alavés at the Cívitas Metropolitano, a match corresponding to the eleventh fixture of LaLiga.

This Sunday, the Cívitas Metropolitano will enjoy again with the return of Diego Pablo Simeone's men. On this occasion, our team receives a visit from Deportivo Alavés at 9pm. The referee in charge of the match will be Muñíz Ruíz, who will be assisted by Martínez Munuera from the VOR room.

Our team will face the Vasque team with the aim of maintaining the good dynamic of results in LaLiga and, in addition, equaling the best streak of consecutive victories at home in our entire history in the competition. This statistic was achieved at the Vicente Calderón between May 2012 and February 2013, a stage in which our team achieved 14 consecutive wins at home.

For its part, Luis García Plaza's team will try to add its first win away from Mendizorroza so far this season. On the other hand, the Vasque team have had six games together without scoring three points (3L and 3D). Their last victory dates back to matchday 4 after beating Valencia CF in their stadium (1-0).

The direct confrontation against the blue and white ended positively for our club with 15 wins, 5 draws and 6 losses in 26 games played in the league championship. Likewise, regarding the number of wins achieved, Diego Pablo Simeone has achieved 53.33% of historical victories over Deportivo Alavés with eight results in favor and only three draws and a single defeat.

Finally, the closest precedent against the babazorros was played during the 2021-2022 season. On that occasion our team beat the Basque team (4-1) on matchday 30 thanks to doubles from Luis Suárez and João Félix.
