Important win at El Sadar
Our team got three important points in their visit to Pamplona against Osasuna. João Félix, Luis Suárez and Correa were the scorers of the game.
Our team visited the always difficult stadium of El Sadar to face Osasuna in the twenty-fifth round of LaLiga. Our team put in a solid performance to win 0-3 thanks to the goals from João Félix, Luis Suárez and Ángel Correa.
Simeone's men got off to a flying start and took the lead after just four minutes thanks to a great volley from João Félix that found its way into the net defended by Sergio Herrera. From the goal, the first half was marked by intensity and effort between two teams looking to take control of the game. Osasuna, with a header from Budimir that was deflected by Moncayola, was close to equalise but the ball hit the woodwork and the score was 0-1 at half-time.
Our team struck again in the first part of the second half as Osasuna pushed forward in search of an equaliser. On the 60th minute, João Félix found Luis Suárez with a ball into space that converted to make it 0-2 with a wonderful left-footed shot from 40 metres out. Our team knew how to manage their advantage until, in the 90th minute, Correa scored the definitive 0-3 after a great assist from Koke.
With this win, our team reaches 42 points in LaLiga before receiving Manchester United this Wednesday at 9pm CET at the Wanda Metropolitano in UCL last 16.
