Griezmann was presented as Atlético de Madrid’s new player and emphasised his desire to "learn" and "train hard" to make headway in the team.
Antoine Griezmann, Atlético de Madrid’s new player, has been presented in the VIP Lounge of the Vicente Calderon Stadium. Enrique Cerezo, the Club’s President, and José Luis Pérez Caminero, its Sporting Manager, presented him the shirt that he’ll defend during the next six seasons. The French international was happy to come to our Club. "Atlético has shown an interest in me for some time now. When they called me it was direct. It’s a great Club, with a great project. I didn’t have to think about it, Atlético is the League Champion", he pointed out.
He has it clear that his objective is to learn and grow as a player. "I have come here to learn. I hope to learn a lot from my teammates and from the coaching staff, who can help me this year", he commented.

He still has not had time to speak with his new coach, Diego Pablo Simeone, but he already has the team’s philosophy clear.
