Griezmann reaches 500 games played in the Atleti jersey
Our striker marked 500 appearances in the Rojiblanco kit this Sunday at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano.
This Sunday, Antoine Griezmann waved the Riyadh Air Metropolitano goodbye, in what was his 500th match as an Atlético de Madrid player.
The Frenchman came to the Club in the summer of 2014 from Real Sociedad, making his debut on 19 August of that same year in a Supercopa de España clash against Real Madrid.
He scored his first goal on 16 September against Olympiacos and, since then, he has become Atlético's highest-ever goal-scorer with 212 goals. He is also the fourth player with the most appearances in Atlético history, surpassed only by legends Koke, Adelardo and Jan Oblak.
Over the course of ten seasons, Griezmann has created unforgettable moments for all Atlético fans, lifting three trophies with the Club: the Supercopa de España in 2014 and the Europa League and Supercopa de Europa, both in 2018.
