Griezmann: "Anoeta is always a complicated field"
Our striker is excited about playing against his ex-team and mentioned the importance of his adaption to Simeone's style of play.
Antoine Griezmann spoke prior to the match against Real Sociedad this Sunday and stressed the difficulty of the match. "They will be eager to win, they need to win. Anoeta is always a difficult field for their rivals and they are going to give their all in the match against us," he assured.
For the Frenchman, it will be the return to the place he called home before last summer, and he considers it a special match. "I'll probably be excited and eager to play for my new team and my teammates. I'm eager to have fun like every Sunday," he recognised.
We must get used to the team's style of play
Regarding the evolution he is experiencing in his game, something that has helped him score decisive goals in the last few matches, Griezmann assured that it's something positive for him. "We must get used to the team's style of play. We must pressure and play with intensity and that is what I try to do without losing my game. Take the good things from one another and help my teammates," he is also convinced he will reach his goal. "I have talked to the coach and I perfectly understand everything he asks of me. I am trying to accomplish it in every match and every practice. I am sure I will get to where he wants," he concluded.
