Antoine Griezmann continues to make history with our club and on Tuesday in Leverkusen he reached 300 official matches as a Red & White player. The French international continues to add to his legend as a Red and White player and joined the club of players who have worn our jersey 300 times in the second matchday of the Champions League group stage.
He arrived in the summer of 2014 from Real Sociedad. After a period of adaptation in his first few months as a Red & White player, Griezmann managed to find a place in the starting eleven and became one of the key players in the club's success in his first season.
Currently, Griezmann is the fourth highest scorer in the club's history with 143 goals, only surpassed by the legends of Luis Aragonés, Escudero and Campos.
300 appearances for Atleti have helped him lift three titles: Spanish Super Cup (2014), Europa League (2018) and European Super Cup (2018). In addition to a multitude of individual awards, Griezmann also won the 2018 World Cup with France in a year in which his performances for Atleti and the French national team earned him the title of one of the best players in the world.
