Gregorio Manzano: 'We will have a good season'

'We have security, stability and confidence in what we're doing'

Gregorio Manzano told the press conference before the game against Athletic that he has very clear ideas and 'we’ll have a good season.' He said 'we have security, stability and confidence in what we are doing,' at the same time calling for 'calm, everything will be fine.'   Regarding the changes that the Basque side could field in their lineup for the Gregorio Manzano said 'I do not know who is not available for Athletic for the match, but the Athletic has always been a strong team at home, regardless of any absences they might have. No game will be easy or comfortable'.   The coach made it clear that 'we have not gone for the draw in any game. We always go for the three points. Our idea is to game by game. In Bilbao we’ll be going to win the match. Then we'll talk later about the next one. I can swear that we have not ever gone for a draw.'   Manzano recognises that 'I have to work more with the players to see that what we do is efficient. It is true that we know where we are and what is expected from us. Like when you said not long ago that it had be a while since you had seen the Mexican wave at the Calderon and I said to stay calm and not get carried away, well I’m saying the same now.”   On the fans protests in the last game, the coach said 'I will respect all opinions. I will try, and I will get the squad  to do the right things for the fans so that they can enjoy and be proud of their team. It is our goal. But when things go wrong and we get the criticism, we must accept it.”
