After playing against Villarreal, Godín surpassed Luis Amaranto Perea to become the foreign-born player with the most official club appearances for Atlético: 315.
Godín made his debut for Atlético on 27 August 2010, when we beat Inter Milan (2-0) in the UEFA Supercup. Since then, he’s won the Europa League, another UEFA Supercup, one Copa del Rey, one Liga and one Spanish Supercup with the club.
