Goalkeeper David De Gea is back training with his teammates

Borja practiced apart from the rest of the squad

David De Gea rejoined the team training after his absence on Monday. The goalkeeper completed the full session and trained at the same rhythm as his teammates. He started off the practice by working with Iago and Joel. During the first half of the session, the three goalkeepers worked under the orders of Emilio Álvarez doing specific goalkeeping work. Afterwards, they joined the rest of the group. The only absence was that of Borja González, who worked out in the gym and with the Club physical therapists in order to recover from his sprained ankle.

The rest of the ‘rojiblanco’ squad began the training, which lasted nearly two hours, with physical work. Then they did ball possession drills and played small-sided games. After this part of the practice came to an end, Quique Sánchez Flores prepared a physical circuit with finishing, and then continued with odd-numbered attacking and finished with a practice match across the width of the pitch. There was maximum intensity during the session and the players want to erase the recent image with a necessary win over Real Zaragoza this coming weekend.

The ‘rojiblanco’ side will return to training on Wednesday at 11:30 am at the facilities in Majadahonda.
