Giuliano plays his 100th game for Atlético
Our academy graduate achieved this milestone during Saturday's game.
With today's game against Athletic Club, Giuliano Simeone makes his 100th appearance in the Atlético de Madrid jersey since his debut during the 2021/22 season. He made his first-team debut against Granada Club de Fútbol at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano on 20 April 2022.
He arrived at our Academy in 2019, becoming a member of the Atlético de Madrid Youth A team who were declared the División de Honor Group 5 champions in the 2020/21 season. That same season, he made his debut with Atlético Madrileño, wearing their jersey on 15 occasions.
Giuliano continued to sport the Atlético Madrileño kit during the 2021/22 season, playing 36 games and scoring 24 goals. A figure that, in addition to crowning him as the top scorer in Group 7 of the Tercera RFEF, established him as a key part of Atlético Madrileño's promotion.
Afterwards, Giuliano continued to expand his professional experience by spending two seasons on loan at Real Zaragoza (2022/23) and Deportivo Alavés (2023/24), after which he returned to Atlético and became a permanent member of our first team.
In the Rojiblanco colours, he has played 63 matches in LaLiga, 22 in the UEFA Champions League, 11 in the Copa del Rey, 3 in the FIFA Club World Cup and 1 in the Supercopa de España. Overall he has scored 12 goals and provided 17 assists.
