HISTORY
Club Brugge are a historic football club and were founded in 1891. They’re one of the most successful Belgian teams and have won 41 domestic titles. They’ve also had great success in European competitions.
STADIUM
Brugge play in the Jan Breydel Stadium, which seats 29,042 fans. It hosted matches in the Euro 2000.
COACH
The Croat Ivan Leko is Brugge’s manager. He has been in charge of the team since 2017 and has led the club to two trophies: Jupiler Pro League and the Belgian Super Cup. He also played for Club Brugge from 2005-2009.
CURRENT SEASON
Brugge are currently second in the Jupiler Pro league, after five matches. They have 13 points are undefeated and are tied with Genk at the top of the table with 13 points. Back in July, they beat Standard Liege for the 2018 Belgian Super Cup.
