Jesús Gámez commented on GolTV microphones at the end of the game against Valencia that our team tried until the last moment but it was not possible. "I believe that we have not come out as we had to in the first fifteen minutes, and that’s the reason for the three goals. Afterwards, the team has reacted and we’ve worked hard. We managed to score a goal and then we’ve had the opportunity to score the second one, but it could not be. We fought until the end and now we’re thinking about the next one", he said.

Now we have to work hard, which is what bears fruit

The fullback who debuted in an official match with the red and white, has acknowledged that it is now time to improve and work hard during the national teams break. "After a defeat, you should always analyse it to improve. We have two weeks ahead of us to work hard where we have no games. Now we have to work hard which, is what bears fruit", he stressed.

The winger has also admitted that the penalty shot by Siqueira would have changed the match. "It would have been different. Perhaps they would have come out a bit nervous. Since it didn’t happen, they kept the advantage of the first half and it could not be", he pointed out.
