Gámez: “It will be a hard match, but we have the support of our fans"
Jesús Gámez answered the media at the end of Thursday's training. He highlighted that the team will have the support of our followers in an important game.
The player from Málaga said the team is “very eager. We tied against a great team such as Sevilla and in a difficult match but, above all, it didn't cut points in the ranking. We know that Valencia is closer and it will also be a difficult match, but we have the support of our fans and the team's eagerness for that moment to arrive.”
The red and white fullback noted that “We're a team with a very united group, especially with the coach. We're training well and all the players are needed at this time. And the union of the group is essential.”
Regarding his playing two matches in a row and if it's the opportunity he was waiting for, Gámez said that “I came out to play due to circumstances. It has always been my working line, both professionally and personally, to be a constant and hard-working player and person who is able to give to the group with no long faces. It's essential to prove it when I get the chance and to say that I'm there if necessary.”
