Our captain, Gabi, spoke to the press before our crucial Champions League match against Qarabag, in the Wanda Metropolitano.

Qarabag gave the team a hard time in our last match on 18 October and Gabi expects the Azerbaijani side to play the same way they did in Baku.

“We’re expecting the same Qarabag that we faced in Baku,” he said. “They have players who want to show why they’re in the Champions League. It’ll be a difficult match."

The team needs a win tomorrow and our captain is sure the team will compete well.

“We know how important tomorrow is,” he continued. “We can’t fail. We have to show we’re better than our rival and be fully concentrated in the first minutes of the match.”
