Gabi: "It was a tough match"
Check out what Gabi had to say following our 1-0 win against Dépor.
After our 1-0 win in the Wanda Metropolitano against Deportivo de La Coruña, Gabi spoke to the press.
"It was a tough match," he said. "In the last 10 matches [in the league] everyone is playing to reach their objective. They were giving it their all and, like I said, it was a very complicated match."
Gabi was impressed by Deportivo and wished them well for the rest of the season.
"Deportivo have quality players and could be higher up in the table. When you're in a bad streak, it's hard to get out of it and we wish them luck."
Our captain was proud of how the youngster Carlos Isaac played in his debut.
"He had a great match," Gabi said. "Hopefully he can keep helping us."
Our next league match is against Real Madrid in the Santiago Bernabéu on Sunday 8 April at 4:15 p.m. CET.
"We'll try to win like always," he said. "We're deservedly in second place and we're going to keep on fighting to get closer to FC Barcelona."
