Four academy players took part in Thursday's session
Atletico returned to field 4 of the sports city with their mind set in the clash against Granada. Manquillo, Óliver Saul and Coke trained under Diego Pablo Simeone.
The first team of Atletico Madrid continued preparing for the match against Granada on Sunday (17.00 hours at the Vicente Calderon) at Sports City in a session with started under heavy rain. Óliver, Manquillo and Saul trained together with the members of the first team, after yesterday finding out they were called up for the Spain U-20 by Julen Lopetegui for next week meet up in the Soccer City of Las Rozas.
Tiago and Arda continued working in the gym
Besides the three players of Atletico Madrid B, Coke, Atletico Madrid defender Youth Honor Division, was also in the session taken by Diego Pablo Simeone while Arda Turan and Tiago continued their recovery process in the gym.
The Argentine coach was at all times very attentive to the evolution of their player ensuring they maintain the intensity that marks their play. Simeone prepared some crossing exercises ending with a shot on goal in a session that lasted approximately an hour and a half.
