TRAINING SESSION AT THE STAGE OF THE MATCH AGAINST SPORTING

First contact with the National Stadium in Peru

Simeone's men trained for about an hour in the National Stadium Peru, scene of our second game of in the Euroamericana Cup.

The players have already had the chance to get to know Peru's National Stadium, a giant architectural piece which on Thursday will see Atleti face Sporting Cristal in the second game of the Euroamericana Cup. Simeone's men trained for an hour in the sports arena, the home of the national team with capacity for 50,000 spectators.

As usual, the session began with the mandatory physical conditioning after the warm up. After the usual stretching, the balls game out with combination exercises in small groups. The coaching staff wanted this time to dedicate a significant portion of the day to work on attacking movements in confined spaces without goalkeepers, as they trained alone.

A new round of stretching brought the session to an end ahead of this Thursdays game at 3:00 (CET Spanish) in the National Stadium Lima.
