Filipe Luis made his debut today in his second stage as a red and white player. The player was one of eleven starters in the win by two goals to zero against the Real Sociedad, and played the full match. The left-back, shared the defence with Juanfan, Godín and Giménez and did not give any option to the rival attackers.

From his creative instincts came the play of the goal that put us ahead on the scoreboard: Filipe gave a great heel pass to Torres and he made a wall pass with Koke before the Real Sociedad player scored in his own goal. In the second half, the defence turned into attack, and after several attempts to cause danger, on minute 59 he got a good cross to Fernando Torres, who almost beat the rival goalie with a strong header that was deflected narrowly.
