Fernando Torres surpasses Luis Aragonés' 370 matches with Atlético de Madrid

Our academy players, Fernando Torres and Koke, are making history with Atlético de Madrid.

Against AS Roma, Torres played his 371st match with Atlético and surpassed Luis Aragonés, while Koke completed his 335th match with Atleti and passed Juan José Rubio’s mark with the club.

Torres equalled Aragonés’ mark in last weekend’s LaLiga match against Real Madrid. In his 371 matches, he’s scored 119 times. His first goal was on 3 June 2001 against Albacete. In the 335 matches Koke has defended the club’s colors, he’s scored 30 goals.
