Falcao: 'The team goals are more important than personal ones'
'I'm happy to be able score three goals'
Radamel Falcao Garcia left the Vicente Calderón Stadium with the match ball having scored the first three goals for Atleti, the ball had been signed by all his team mates 'I'm happy to be able score three goals. I thank God for what I'm living and I thank my teammates because without them this would not be possible,' he said.
He recalled that at Porto he received three balls for scoring hat tricks. The Colombian was pleased by the response of the Calderon. 'The fans were great with all players. Clearly there is interaction between the players and the fans, 'he said.
He was asked if had seen the video scoreboards #UNTIGREANDASUELTO ‘A tiger on the loose'. 'No, because I was concentrating on the game, but I've been told. Hopefully I can work with the team and score goals but more importantly the team win. The team goals are more important than personal ones.' he said.
The Atletico striker is already thinking about Wednesday. 'We´re only thinking of the match against Sporting, where we will try to win all three points. The most important thing for us now is Wednesday and we will focus specifically on that game,' he concluded.
