As of April 9th, 2013, Radamel Falcao Garcia has already scored 28 goals, a figure identical to that of the same time last season. The strike has notched up the same amount of gaols despite having played 5 games less than at the same stage last season, indicating that Falcao is improving on his first year in the Atletico shirt. In the current year, with 30 league games played, the Colombian has played 27 times in which he has scored 22 goals (0.81 per game).
Falcao is illusion, ambition, and he always wants more
Falcao’s numbers are very similar in the league, where it shows a slight improvement. However, if we consider all competitions, the scoring average of `El Tigre 'clearly increases. The Atletico striker had played 38 games last year including the Copa del Rey and the UEFA Europa League, where he added 8 goals making him the top scorer of the competition as he lead his team to the title. In total, the number 9 had scored 28 times in 38 games, 0.73 goals per game.
By contrast, this season Falcao has 28 goals in 33 matches and an average of 0.85 goals per game. A notable improvement with the Colombian leading his teammates to the objectives set, the hope is that the route leads to qualification for the Champions League and to wrap up the year with the conquest of the Copa del Rey.
